Job Summary
Apple is looking for a Creative Director for our Retail communications team. The reach of this team includes 60,000 world-wide employees. As a key member of the Retail Marketing Creative team you manage a team of multi-disciplinary creatives in writing and design to develop and execute Apple Retail’s Communications strategy, delighting our employees and delivering results for the business. You work in partnership with the Director of Internal Communications on the creative output of the work — making sure all of the communications have the right look, tone and feel across a variety of media and platforms. You are savvy and have the skills to work across a complex matrix of stakeholders. You have an affinity for technology, and a strong understanding of the relationship between content and platforms. You are comfortable directing executive communication needs and have experience on multiple social media platforms. Beyond creative direction, you are a proven leader, effective communicator and exceptional motivator. You have a passion for nurturing relationships and use that rapport to align teams around a vision. You smile in the face of deadlines and you revel in execution. Key Qualifications
• 10+ years experience creating communications, working in a design company, advertising agency or in-house creative environment
• Broad background in art direction, design and copy that spans digital, retail and video work. You can confidently creatively direct all these different types of workflows
• Must be dynamic, learning agile and driven
• A demonstrated passion for the audience experience, design, written and rich media communications, and knowledge of how to leverage each to achieve communication goals
• Deep experience managing and building world class teams, and processes that deliver the highest-quality creative work
• The ability to excel at both a strategic and executional level
• Skilled at multi-tasking, delivering under tight timelines, adapting quickly to change
• Experience working with international peers to define global creative communication strategies for the business
