Fender Digital is a division of Fender Musical Instruments Corporation (“FMIC”) locatedin Hollywood, CA. Fender Digital Products is a new division making apps, websites, platforms and tools to compliment the guitars, amps and audio gear that Fender makes.

We are currently seeking a Director, Digital Product Management to lead and oversee the road map for Fender Play, a subscription-based online learning platform for guitar, bass and ukulele. The ideal candidate will demonstrate superb collaboration skills to coordinate the planning and implementation of work: from ingesting user reviews and surveys and integrating feedback from business and engineering stakeholders to produce a roadmap of features to continuously improve Fender Play across all platforms. We're are looking for a proven leader who can bring a strategic perspective to the platform as well as contribute hands-on in order to get things done.
About the Job:
• Develop, manage, and execute the Fender Play roadmap of features across all platforms (desktop, iOS, Android, iPad, and others)
• Partner with engineering, design, product marketing, research teams and other stakeholders to oversee the creation, development, and iteration of roadmap
• Drive product development from conceptualization through launch creating actionable plans
• Lead and mentor team of product managers
• Solve ambiguous problems and proactively identify and mitigate risks
• Partner with business to champion opportunities that will have significant measurable impact
• Drive and keep a cross-functional team focused on the goal of the end-product
• Be the arbiter of truth: collect, contextualize and drive decisions through data. Solicit feedback, explore the competitors
What You Need:
• 7-10 years experience delivering high-quality, revenue-generating consumer-facing digital products
• Experience with subscription-based apps
• Strong acumen for data-driven decision making, employing qualitative and quantitative measurement methodologies to accurately define and report on KPIs
• Great communicator and leader
• Solid eye for design, copy and a creative problem solver
• Knowledge of Agile development practices and a demonstrated ability to deliver high-impact features at scale
• The ability to drive, motivate, support and earn the trust of product team and cross functional teams
• A passion for driving “Makers” and being one yourself
