Director, Finance - National Foodservice On-Premise - West Zone

Function Specific Activities:
The Finance Director analyzes the organization's revenues, liabilities and other financial indicators to forecast cash flow position; recommends investments, funding sources etc.; advises senior management on financial matters; provides technical expertise on financial issues to functional or operational areas managers; manages ongoing relationships with external consultants and advisers (e.g. tax advisers, accounting firms); directs financial staff. Manages within a nominated sub-function or related sub-functions; typically a highly experienced manager who is accountable for budget, policy recommendations and medium-term planning; decisions tend to be more tactical at the country level.
Accountabilities include:
• Full P&L Ownership for a business with annual revenues of $800 Million USD
• Execution of strategic business plan and delivery of business and financial results
• Leadership of volume forecast, rolling estimate, actual results, and analysis of business results and recommending forward actions to the leadership team
• Leadership and Implementation of financial reporting routines (BDD’s, Volume, AR & OPEX reports)
• Adheres to strong internal accounting and financial controls to include compliance with customer contracts, all financial policies and procedures, GAAP, COBC and SOX requirements
• Direct interaction with customers to include C-suite leaders and highly influential decision-makers to negotiation commercial deals
• Recruit, develop and sustain a diverse and high-performing team
• Serve as a consultant and subject matter expert to the team on significant matters relating to financial policies, commercial programs, profitability and P&L implication
• Support broad cross-functional leadership team in financial analysis and financial strategy issues
• Strong coaching and influencing skills required to interface with Zone Leadership team and other Sr Leaders
• Participates in and/or leads various broader Foodservice projects as identified by finance leaders
• Drives engagement and productivity within Finance and Sales teams for accelerated performance
Qualifications:
Education:
• Bachelor degree in Accounting or Finance, CPA or MBA preferred
Business Experience:
• At least 12 years' experience in Finance/Accounting for a large, Fortune 50 company; Demonstrated strong people leadership, excellent communication skills, ability to lead through change, prioritize, and manage multiple diverse projects and tasks
• Strong commercial thinking skills and/or experiences negotiating commercial deals with customers desired
• Knowledge and understanding of Food service business and Value Chain analytics
• Knowledge of SAP.
