Function Specific Activities:
The Director, Business Analytics will provide comprehensive business & financial analysis to the CCNA leadership team on in-year P&L & volume for North America. This role is responsible for financial performance management routines for with deliverables to CCNA & corporate leadership related to actuals & the RE, which includes connections to the annual & strategic business planning process. The director is also responsible for supporting the North America volume call process.
Key Responsibilities
• Interprets forecasts and works with CCNA leadership team to deliver quarter and annual volume & profit goals for the CCNA operating unit
• Provides historical and forward looking business & financial analytics (volume, price realization, price mix, cost mix, cost to serve, margin), and the interpretation and insight of this information to North America leadership
• Coordination of weekly/monthly volume call process & corporate volume reporting (RE/Close/BP); leads key messaging & analytics related to total CCNA internally & for corporate
• Develops and maintains partnerships with North America leadership, Strategy & Corporate Investor Relations to create external dialog with investors
• Establishes standardized, analytical frameworks / information to support weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual performance management routines with executive leadership
• Development of strong partnerships with Commercial, Strategy & Planning, Field Finance and Finance Leadership
• Coach, guide and mentor broader team on building quantitative, analytical & leadership skills
Education
• Minimum Required:
Bachelors' degree or equivalent in Finance, Economics, Business, Engineering or other highly analytical disciplines
Preferred Level:MBA or similar graduate degree preferred
Experience
• Minimum Required:
7 years Finance/RGM/Commercial/Strategy, with experience in modeling, preferably in the food and/or CPG industry or related consulting
Preferred Level:10+ years Finance/RGM/Commercial/Strategy, modeling experience, and multi-functional experience including strategic planning, financial and business analysis, and/or performance management
Key Skills Required
• Working knowledge of key data systems (BPC/FDW, Nielsen, Matrix)
• Advanced modeling capability - strong modeling skills and technical skills (advanced excel, access)
• Advanced quantitative analytical skills - ability to draw insights and actions from large datasets, which lead to actionable strategies
• Ability to see broader picture + message & synthesize findings quickly
