Platform Manager Responsibilities
An effective platform manager is an entrepreneur, strategist, technical visionary, cross-functional team leader, customer and end user advocate, all rolled into one. Our platform managers are responsible for developing and executing new platform strategy plans, including 3-year life-cycle plans, that fit the Food service and On-Premise selling plans, initiatives, and financial goals of Coca-Cola Freestyle.
Function Specific Activities:
Job Activities
• Coordinate with all global business end users of the Coca-Cola Freestyle platforms, equipment service, R&D teams, Freestyle Engineering, Freestyle Business Development and Freestyle Marketing teams to identify and implement dispenser requirements.
• Develop and manage on-going routine with business unit participants to collect and prioritize change requests and continuously communicate the overall release schedule.
• Act as a thought leader on innovation, champion ideas across the teams to leverage leading edge solutions across Freestyle platform to grow traffic, beverage volume and acquire/extend customer relationships.
Accountabilities
• Construct a platform roadmap to align with strategic initiatives. Optimize/iterate as necessary to meet business goals.
• Oversee progress against platform backlogs to ensure work and priorities are in line with platform strategy and goals.
• Manage inbound requests from stakeholders - field, prioritize, and report back on progress, expected delivery dates, concerns, and/or blockers. Make final decisions on any scope changes to prioritize key features that align with the overall strategy.
• Write business case for new features and coordinate between sales, commercialization, engineering and finance to collect all inputs on cost and market opportunities.
• Serve as the product expert on performance, functionality, and value propositions to internal and external customers. Provide product-related assistance as needed.
• Provide monthly business review on major platform line performance (YOY, vs. plan) with corrective actions while providing recommendations for delivering growth.

• Ability to develop market assessments, business development plans and product life cycle strategies
• Ability to manage a product: the features, functions, value created, profit and loss, strategic planning, market and competitive analysis at a level of skill and knowledge leading to successful outcomes.
• Talent for deciphering key consumer needs for a given product solution. Talent for screening ideas objectively and recommending high revenue alternatives.
Program and Product Management
• Oversee and direct platform team’s project deliverables to ensure timely and accurate execution
• Skill and capability in driving results with 3rd Party (consultants, legal, etc.) partners
• Anticipate obstacles and objectives to problem solve preemptively
Teamwork and Communications
• Ability to handle criticism, conflict and risk
• Develop productive working relationships with cross-functional teams
• Drive results, influence others and work across all areas of the company
Required Knowledge, Skill, and Abilities
• 10 years of technical or commercial leadership
• Prior experience and track record in planning and introducing new products to market under tight time and budget constraints
• P&L Responsibility with Technical Product Management experience preferred
• Systems Knowledge and thinking
• Excellent written and oral Communication Skills
