Position Overview:
The overall remit of the Marketing & Digital Services (MDS) Team is to design, deliver, commercialize, and operate scalable capabilities that support The Coca-Cola Company’s (TCCC) continued delivery and innovation of content across digital channels worldwide, and includes capabilities such as Content & Creative Services, Digital Asset Management, Web Content Management (for internal and external websites), Social Media Marketing, and Digital Analytics. The team is focused on serving our (1) global marketing, public affairs and bottler teams worldwide with the right solutions that help them deliver their messages both more efficiently and more effectively around the world, as well as (2) leadership and associates in ensuring that the information, communities, and digital tools they need are in click’s reach of their desire.
The expanding digital technology landscape and mobile technology penetration has led to quick adoption of digital shopping behaviors by consumers. A growing audience of consumers now purchase our products from digital retailers in addition to traditional brick-and-mortar retailers. To better support retailers, customers and marketers, TCCC is evolving its product data systems to provide better efficiency, global transparency and scalable processes.
The Product Data Systems Director will be tasked with providing the best technology platforms and business processes to support data collection, distribution and syndication of product data for ecommerce channels and other externally visible platforms. This includes implementing a global Product Information Management system (PIM). The Product Data Systems Director will be responsible for orchestrating the work streams and vendors to support this work.

Job Responsibilities:
Strategy
• Serve as key thought leader for consumer-facing product data, including data for consumer use on company owned and customer owned digital properties, bringing data expertise to corporate stakeholders, markets, bottlers and retail partners.
• Understand and provide a vision for the product data requirements, distribution preferences and syndication requirements for various vendors and customers, including PIM, syndicators and retailers.
• Understanding of the evolving industry landscape for product information management and provide a vision for the future use of the system.
• As a champion to the needs of the business units and customers, partner with strategy leads from Growth/Marketing, Customer and Commercial Leadership, Master Data and affiliated bottlers to determine solutions that lead the industry.
• Lead efforts to scale the PIM across markets, through efforts to standardize technology and processes while meeting the unique needs of markets.
• Contribute to the ongoing evolution of the PIM by continuing to explore changes in the industry, the markets and with our customers.
• Work with the Digital Assets Director and PCE Director to build a PIM capability roadmap balancing the needs of all groups.
• Communicate the vision and success through expert storytelling to business stakeholders.
• Manage annual business planning, evolving the current capability to meet future needs while balancing financial constraints
Capability Leading and Operations
• Ensure and continuously improve the harmonized process performance (standards, processes, hierarchy management, capabilities, data quality) related to industry direction and initiatives.
• Work in conjunction with Customer and Commercial Leadership, bottlers and customers to define and implement a global PIM system to meet our data distribution needs, primarily eCommerce and moving to other use cases.
• Balancing delivery of superior user experience with the need to deliver business results that lead to increased eCommerce and digital sales.
• Implement KPIs and processes that demonstrate successful strategy execution and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Develop, implement and monitor the budget for PIM efforts and proactively strategize with the global community to plan for future funding.
• Establish and manage data management practice to meet data quality standards and adoption requirements across the digital supply chain and eCommerce customer journey.
• Develop and implement a system for global governance of the addition / removal of data attributes, values in a list of values, PIM workflows, and system data quality checks.
• Manage and contribute to the development of a “playbook-like” reference tool to standardize operations, ease onboarding and provide reference for the technology ecosystem and services.
People and Stakeholder Management
• Lead a team of associates, technology vendors and associated field stakeholders to manage the evolving product content needs of our bottlers and customers through process improvement and technology enhancements.
• Work in conjunction with Growth, Customer and Commercial Leadership, bottlers and customers to translate our product content business needs to systems and processes that promote customer satisfaction, efficiency and measurable success.
• Work closely with market stakeholders to build a global adoption map, balancing regional concerns and needs with an overall focus on speed to market and customer satisfaction.
• Drive cross-functional teams comprised of both business and technology to deliver complete capabilities
• Lead coordination of knowledge sharing:

◦ Industry trends
◦ Cross-market, global retailer needs
◦ Data Impact Reports
◦ Introduction of new tools and capabilities
Qualifications
• BA/BS degree with 10+ years in digital marketing technology or ecommerce
• 5+ years of experience in data-centered product management
• Experience in FMCG product information management, including exposure to GS1, Grocery Manufacturers Association (ITI), GS1 128, One World Sync, etc.
• Demonstrated understanding of ERP and PDP optimization, eCMD providers (e.g., Salsify or Content Analytics), and content health auditing.
• Experience with automated image creation preferred.
• Demonstrated success in development of new or existing product strategies from conception to implementation
• Demonstrates solid understanding of digital asset management and product content
• Ability to take data and use it to “tell a story” and optimize outcomes
• Experience managing budgets, forecasting and metrics
• 5+ years experience managing a team - remote team management a plus
• Thorough knowledge of digital strategy development, digital strategies, channels and measurement/analytics.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint is required
