Customer Service & Logistics (CS&L) is where you’ll integrate our end-to-end demand-driven supply chain. Working “from farm to shelf,” you’ll connect plants with customers to deliver best-in-class service in the most efficient way. Your goal will be to have the right products, at the right time, and with the right quantity and quality on the shelf.
The CS&L Log Ops Development CI role will lead the development and execution of strategic initiatives and productivity program across Distribution & Transportation, by developing a systematic approach to provide a competitive advantage in the industry and amongst our peers, enabling the execution of the NA growth agenda.
The CS&L Log Ops Development leader is responsible for delivering productivity year over year while balancing revenue growth, margin and cash flow; Understanding industry trends, external best practices, marketplace dynamics and Customers’ changing supply chain needs and priorities. This role will work closely across the Log Ops Development leads and Global capability/IL6S teams. Critical to this role is the development and ownership of improving our metrics, identifying gaps and providing solutions to improve our day to day performance across Distribution & Transportation. This role has high visibility in the organization and will sit in Strategy and ISC led forums. Internal Bench marking & best practice sharing.
This role will also be responsible for the traceability & inventory compliance for our US Logistics processes & locations
Main Responsibilities:
• Lead major initiatives in our Network to deliver in year productivity for Distribution & Transportation. Develops roadmap, prioritizes current initiatives and guarantee excellence in execution all the way to savings realization (Delivery guidelines, Logistics Incentives, warehouse and Transportation productivity, etc) to guarantee sufficiency and maximum return
• Understands losses in our Network and develop programs over our strategic plan to deliver in year-AC for Distribution & Transportation. Assesses operational and strategic operations productivity opportunities (including collaborating with Sales Strategy), perform gap assessment and develop plans to ensure MDLZ is at a cost competitive advantage vs industry and viewed by our Customers as best in class for logistics operations.
• Implements common tools and methods to drive quicker, more transparent, and data based business decisions by mastering the CI tools and methods. Acts as a change agent to ensure significant process improvement with positive financial impact. Collaborates with our Capability team on SOPs to ensure losses are prevented after implementation of projects
• Responsible for continuous assessment of additional needs, including quality & compliance, which includes but not limited to reducing waste through damage reduction , traceability of our products.

Qualifications
• University degree, supply chain related desired
• Min 10 yrs experience
• Strong path of experience in managing large CS&L / ISC organization, both on operational and central (strategy) level
• Translate business strategies into business objectives, envision possibilities
• Strong problem solving skills, especially with complex business issues
• Strong analytical skills, solid IL6S experience
• Excellent interpersonal, communications and presentation skills, influencing others
• Ability to gain alignment in a large, complex organization
• Must demonstrate effective business maturity
• Ability to travel 10%
