Summary
An influential role with accountability to drive and lead the “Simplify Finance” ERP program PMO and governance, oversee the deployment and interim state management, as well as drive the value capture and Finance application sunset roadmap. Responsible for operational success, strategic alignment and integration of activities with other major Finance functions. Fully accountable for the success of the Simplify Finance Planning, Strategy and Deployment function. Influences strategy and sets policy and direction. Provides the oversight for ERP Finance program spend of ~$30M, and directly control budget of ~ $3M, managing ~ ~50 heads. Acts as a key advisor to Head of Simplify Finance Architecture and Portfolio, influencing the strategic direction of the business.
Key Responsibilities
• Orchestrates tower governance and steering/management communications.
• Oversee total resourcing for the Finance program, covering Controllership and other Finance L2 teams
• Leads program planning, scoping and execution; delivery of key milestone and program phases.
• Oversees the Finance-wide MOC program: ensure change impacts are addressed; Finance stakeholders and 4,000+ Finance employees are ready for ERP.
• Drives alignment between various Finance Functions on their requirements and deliverables.
• Owns management of escalation and issue resolutions for the program.
• Sets strategic direction for deployment of Simplify Finance program.
• Fully accountable for Finance Interim State management, including mitigation of risk profile.
• Oversees Simplify Finance program deployment, testing and Hypercare execution.
• Drives interlock and ongoing management of Interim State processes and environments.
• Drives value capture for Simplify Finance ERP program.
• Manages Finance application sunsets roadmap
• Manager data retention and archiving requirements.
• Accountable for leading an organization of directors, managers and individual contributors, ~50 heads, by setting overall initiatives, allocating financial and human capital for programs and projects, and ensuring timely and effective delivery of financial programs.
• Provides the oversight for ERP Finance program spend of ~$30M, and directly control budget of ~ $2M-$3M.
• Consults with business leaders at the EXEC2 and EXEC3 level to drive and influence strategic decision-making within a broad scope (e.g., balancing risk, approving significant deals).
• Leads process improvement and policy development initiatives.
• Manages large external vendor relationships (e.g., system integrators).
• Ensures that the financial strategies and initiatives within area of accountability are integrated with corporate and business strategies.
Requirements
• First level university degree with a focus in business or economics; advanced degree and/or accounting certification (e.g., CPA, MBA) strongly preferred.
• 12+ years of experience in a finance function or exhibiting an exceptionally strong background in some other relevant and applicable area of business.
• 4+ years of people management experience.
