Accelerate the Global Walmart business partnering with the International Leverage team (WM) to win in the e-cosystem by driving segment initiatives across the top WM geographies and ultimately accelerating the Mars Walmart Global digital business. This role is 70% digital – 30% B&M.
Key Responsibilities:
• Work to become the Digital (Omnichannel) expert developing the Global Walmart Digital strategy including the optimization of the ecosystem to accelerate our mutual businesses by segment according with their priorities.
• Lead the Walmart eSAC (WM Ecommerce council) to accelerate eCommerce International Business by working together in the eSAC subteams.
• Coordinate Internal communication across the WM international community to:
◦ Understand segment initiatives and identify opportunities to make them a reality
◦ Create collaborative relationships between digital internal and external experts and country segments
◦ Understand, capture and deploy best practices globally
• Plan for country segment digital optimization
◦ Develop Internal strategies to accelerate our digital business and link the plans into the B&M platform.
◦ Propose digital structure to developing countries to ensure best positioning for success
• CGF/JBP/JVC processes: ( Digital perspective –linked in to the B&M arena )
◦ Aligns Omnichannel initiatives with CGF strategic framework jointly with the WM Global Sr Director. (Omnichannel perspective) Specifically accelerate North American Leverage, Cost of Goods Savings, China turnaround and develop the India eCommerce platform for WM and Flipkart.
◦ Ensures Mars teams understand levers to execute across initiatives. Summarizes and communicates initiative progress to Global Customer team and Walmart International.
• Unlock digital growth by coordinating our resources with Walmart
◦ Wiring plan for Walmart Digital team. Develop key relationships with digital stakeholders both internally and externally.
◦ Facilitate Mars country segment meetings with the Walmart VP eCommmerce in country
• Organize and ensure traction continues after the meeting
◦ Accelerate the Walmart Mars China business by driving growth in the JD.com platform including the Sam's Club.com flagship store. Working closely with the segment.
◦ Develop India roadmap to success across new Flipkart platform.
◦ Optimize jointhly with the WM Global senior analist the global B&M and digital reporting
• Accurately deliver Walmart requested updates for JVC/JBP and monthly reporting
• Leverage POS, Supply Chain, profit, pricing, assortment and digital fulfillment data and share reporting in a relevant and easily digestible way.
• Key contact for our digital data suppliers (3rd parties)
◦ B&M: Owner of two PN projects (Chile and China) PN nutrition accelerator plans including the interaction with the WM PN USA Category team.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree, MBA preferred
10 years in sales, marketing, digital, e-commerce and/or international management positions.
Solid background on e-commerce – Digital commerce experience with a proven track of results.
Experience in B&M sales and Marketing leading teams and customers.
CPG industry experience preferred
