Omnicom Health Group has an exciting opportunity for an Associate Director, Business Development.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
As an Associate Director, you’d be responsible for owning the pitch process from start to finish while partnering with agency teams in the development of the pitch. You have creative and strategic thought-process, thinking of new ways to push thinking on agency differentiation. You’ll help to confirm the right resources are in place, provide guidance on how to strengthen presentations, and conduct post pitch analysis to inform the next opportunity. Maintaining a positive and supportive role is critical and it is important that you are able to move the process forward by achieving deadlines. You will continuously be learning and will be exposed to many new therapeutic areas. You are process driven, detailed, and highly organized and love to work in a fast-paced environment.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Can be out of any type of role in an agency setting-account, creative, project management, etc.
• Pharmaceutical experience is a plus
• Will work across agencies with account, strategy, creative, and medical teams
• Should understand (or be able to pick up quickly) the account, strategic, and medical aspects of a brand team
• Will work collaboratively with both the agency pitch team and business development team
• Must be able to command a room and take control of the pitch process; Strong facilitation skills; the ability to own multiple projects
• Must be comfortable dealing with senior leadership across the agencies
• Digital experience a must
• Constant drive to improve the process and end product, helping to implement recommendations to strengthen BD offering
• A bachelor’s degree
• 4+ years of agency/marketing experience required
• Preferably with a combination of business development, account and/or strategy and ideally experience with professional and consumer/patient
• Must have strong writing skills, be a strategic thinker, and have a proactive mindset
