Description
Strategic & Functional Lead
• Work with OMD strategy team to develop strategic framework for Entertainment and Content Marketing programs
• Develop annual planning process and integrated calendar approach
• Actively seek out programs driven by team objectives with media, studio, and independent creator channels
• Work with WAU creative and account teams to develop scalable tools to evaluate ideas
• Work with the cross-functional agency team to develop new measurement models to justify investment and quantify results from programs
• Work with investment and strategy teams to identify leverage points for programs
• Develop cadence to interface with advertising and media clients on a consistent basis
Execution
• Work with integrated agency team and identify roles and responsibilities to execute multiple programs across a calendar year
• Develop comprehensive KPI’s for pre, during and post program measurement and optimization
• Develop effective and efficient process using TCC tools for program execution
• Maximize TCC network of partner relationships
• Develop multi-platform distribution plans for programs across linear television, digital and social
• Work with cross-functional agency teams and partners to lead creative development and production of all entertainment and content marketing programs
Team Management
• Management of Entertainment & Content Marketing team across Chicago and Los Angeles
• Lead and motivate a strong team of 5, ensuring TCC delivers a high level of quality in all client commitments
• Day-to-day people operations including but not limited to interviewing and hiring candidates to fill open positions with top talent, onboarding, performance management, providing on-the-job training and employee development planning, real-time coaching and feedback, etc.
Requirements
• Minimum 10-12 years’ experience in entertainment and content marketing with a fundamental understanding of the media industry
• Proven experience as leader in a prior management position
• Experience leading a bicoastal team
• Ability to instill client confidence and sell in Entertainment and Content Marketing programs that deliver results
• Proven analytical, strategic thinking and communication skills
• Ability to multi task and manage multiple work streams
• Bachelor’s degree (communications, advertising, media or related field preferred)
Knowledge/Expertise
• All things related to content and channel optimization, brand consistency, analytics and measurement
• A thorough understanding of marketing communication channels (including digital and social)
• High level of competency in account management and client service
• Background in concept development, production oversight, and talent management
• Experience developing effective measurement models to prove value and program success
