Cadreon - VP, Client Finance Director
Position Summary
The VP, Finance Director (FD) position will be responsible for the management and growth of Cadreon NY office client portfolio. In this role, they will work hand-in-hand with account team to address all business affairs related to their clients. This individual will report directly to the SVP, Finance and be responsible for the financial health of their client portfolio. This includes revenue forecasting, growth, and stewardship.
Essential Functions
• Responsible to partner and co-manage Client P&L with account leads
• Finance subject matter expert for the client portfolio
• Accountable for proper forecasting, accounting, and recording of client Billings and Revenue in accordance with agency policies and GAAP
• Co-Lead the development and negotiation of Client contracts ensure that key contractual requirements are addressed and included
• Partner with account team to maintain expert knowledge of client’s business models, contractual arrangements, key strengths, and opportunities
• Continually advise business partners and leadership on issues within client portfolio that impact the business
• Develop, train, and motivate NY staff while holding them accountable for achieving results
• Partner closely inter-departmentally to ensure proper and accurate recording and reporting of financial and accounting transactions
• Proactively document, follow up on, and close out in a timely fashion any revenue, budgeting, billing, invoicing, or payment issues that pertain to Client(s)
• Partner closely with parent company to ensure prompt cash collection and cash management within IPG guidelines
Qualifications
Education:
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or Business required
• Prior media agency experience required
Work Experience:
• 8+ years of Finance experience
Skills:
• Great attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to multi task
• High integrity
• A self-starter
• Able to work in a fast paced environment with problem solving skills
• The individual will be expected to work independently and also be able to collaborate with all levels of employees, management, and external agencies to maximize performance, problem solving, and results
• Working knowledge of GAAP is required
• Candidate must be proficient with MS Office products such as Excel, Power Point, and Access
• SAP & Hyperion experience preferred
