MARKETING SCIENCE DIRECTOR
The Marketing Science Director has responsibility for leading the marketing and business analytics practice. As the senior most marketing science person on the business, you oversee a team responsible for reporting on the client’s global digital ecosystem including best practices for desktop, mobile, SEO, optimization planning and tests, and marketing communications. In addition to overseeing a team on digital platform and SEO reporting, you will work alongside the agency’s creative and strategy team to provide sound business rationale to sell in creative solutions. Integrating with these colleagues, you will lead and track the creative vision and corresponding roadmap the agency sets forth to meet the client’s annual business targets. You will package the overall ‘story’ of the work in quarterly business reviews and contribute regularly to standards and best practices that the client team can share regularly with their global counterparts. You proactively solution with processes and technologies that streamline reporting and elevate the business value the agency brings to the table. You are client facing, providing counsel and support to senior executives on a regular basis.
Responsibilities:
• Contributes to the overall vision for the marketing science practice
• Elevate our current contributions from reports to analysis – distilling data to key insights and learnings that have true business value and are easily digestible by clients
• Oversee all marketing science and SEO deliverables and maintain the quality of work
• Provide leadership and mentorship to the marketing sciences team
• Partner with the Strategy, Creative and Account leads to develop meaningful and measurable KPIs for the existing business and proactively pitch new work
• Overall client satisfaction
• Manage/communicate account progress to CM executive team
Requirements:
• 10+ Years of agency or consulting experience
• Experience on global accounts
• Experience with Adobe Analytics
• Demonstrate excellent communication skills and a meticulous eye for detail
• Adept at report writing and analysis, visualizing key points
• Experience in digital campaign creation and digital experience design
• Worked on best in class/award winning accounts
• Proven ability to manage and sell ideas to clients
• Ability to work and collaborate with other disciplines within the agency and with other agencies
• Innovative; has an appreciation that each project and problem requires a fresh approach
• Proficiency with the current issues and trends within the online marketing industry, emphasis on emerging media and mobile platforms
• Bachelor’s degree or higher.
• Statistics or math-based degree an asset, but not required
