High quality data forms the basis of our advertising business, and we are looking for a strategic business development leader to drive our data partnerships in North America.
About the role:
You will be responsible for end-to-end ownership of InMobi’s NA Data partnerships, right from strategy to sourcing partners, executing contracts, and managing key relationships. This will extend to building InMobi’s key differentiating factors in a data-dense market of NA. This role will also incorporate working closely with the media business of InMobi NA and the larger global Data business of InMobi.
What you’ll own:
• Develop the strategy and go-to-market plans for high value partnerships to strengthen InMobi’s data assets and drive revenue growth
• Qualify, structure, negotiate, contract, and execute on data partnerships
• Collaborate with and drive to consensus multiple stakeholders within InMobi as well as at existing and potential partner organizations
• Communicate effectively and have the gravitas to engage at the executive level of partner organizations
• Manage mutually beneficial partner relationships to maximize value
• Drive analysis and build business cases to support initiatives
• Develop and provide inputs to InMobi’s product initiatives in the Data business, and co-create go-to-market strategies
• Develop post-close engagement plans for success, tied to tracking and executing on key success metrics
• Become an industry expert, attend industry and partner events regularly; have a systematic approach to identifying emerging industry trends and opportunities
• Contribute to and evangelize InMobi’s thought leadership
Who you are:
You have strong experience in and are passionate about contributing to a growing business and maximizing business value from strategic partnerships. You have the drive and tenacity to get the job done.
Required Qualifications:
• 10+ years experience in top-tier organization, with focus on business development and/or go-to-market execution
• Proven, tangible results in strategy, alliances or related partner-centric experience. Track record of working with partners or channels to deliver meaningful impact and revenue
• Ability to source partners, develop favorable commercial terms, negotiate contracts in fine grain detail, then execute joint go-to-market activities to drive and grow revenue
• Ability to execute across many functional areas, especially Media Sales, Marketing, Product and Strategy
• Bring a track record of consistently delivering growth results under client / financial / time / resource pressure
• Exceptional business acumen and general knowledge around alliances, marketing, sales, pricing, finance and operations
• Strong project or program management, planning and organization skills, including ability to handle very large number of complex projects simultaneously in fast-paced environment
• Experience influencing and collaborating across all levels of organization, both internally and externally
• Strong cross-cultural communications skills
Preferred Qualifications:
• Data partnerships, mobile advertising, programmatic advertising experience is strongly preferred
• MBA from top-tier school preferred
