Reprise - Director, Investment
Position Summary
The Director, Investment is primarily responsible for Digital first campaign execution. In this role, you serve as primary back-up for Associate Media Director in the day-to-day running of the account. You will also supervise the Senior Associates and Media Associates assigned to the group.
Essential Functions
• Manage spend across media partners based on established partnerships
• Oversees the development and execution of assigned media recommendations and plans.
• Work with VP of Media to define, establish and enforce cost savings deals with media partners
• Work closely with their team of Account Directors, supervisors, Senior associates and associates to provide guidance on best of breed partners based on client goals
• Work with product teams to produce first to market digital media executions
• Maintains and creates procedures that produce effective and consistent internal communications to streamline requests and receipt of information and data from other departments within the agency and delegate accordingly
• Works closely with all assigned media personnel in the group, to assist with the analysis and evaluation of media information needed to prepare recommendations that best meet the media objectives and strategies of a plan.
• Directly responsible for media measurement and performance
• Interprets, supervises, coordinates, and integrates, as necessary, all assigned media activities, including presentations to the clients as required.
• Maintains the best possible relationship with seniors clients and internal teams
• Insures the highest level of customer service is executed for media clients
• Set tone for efficiency in the work place and meeting and exceeding goals
• Responsible for developing the digital media skills and knowledge base of those more junior as well as supervise, advise and counsel the group in all daily account activities
• Maintains records and prepares periodic reports as requested by VP of media
• Maintains familiarity with the history, present status and procedures of the clients, as well as with conditions in the industry.
• Own internal management tools and creates processes and trainings around them
• Is at all times alert to new media and new methods of using existing media and new developments, and shares with the planning group of such developments.
• Understand the mechanisms that allow digital executions to function
• Strong Ad Tech Background
• Act as a mentor to all of those around
Qualifications
Education:
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience required
Work Experience:
• 7 plus years of experience in the digital space
• 4 years of management experience
• Client facing experience with fortune 500 clients
Skills:
• Entrepreneurial in spirit and work ethic
• Must be extremely accurate and detail oriented
• Must have hands on knowledge and ability to use media research tools such as Comscore, Nielsen ect..
• This position requires strong mathematical and analytical abilities
• Ability to think strategically
• Comfort with paving new territory and implementing digital media firsts
• Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills.
