Are you a customer experience driven, digital product manager? Can you define an end-to-end product experience that engages retailers, shoppers and brand advertisers and differentiates News America Marketing in the digital advertising landscapes? We are laser focused on developing innovative digital products, services and partnerships for News America Marketing to help transform the online and offline shopping experiences and drive value for shoppers, retailers and brands. News America Marketing is looking for a Director of Product to drive large scale, fast moving projects from concept to launch. The Director of Product will be responsible for defining product features and requirements, articulating use cases, and defining the customer experience for new innovative digital initiatives.
Specific responsibilities include:
• Define new product features and requirements, UX, scope, and functionality
• Partner with internal and external stakeholders to bring product concepts to launch
• Help define product roadmaps, prioritize feature sets and partner with development teams
• Obtain feedback on the product to iterate and drive improvements in future releases
• Maintain pulse on external and internal product developments to assess implications for our products
Required Skills:
• Enthusiasm and passion for great products and services and the ability to articulate product functionality
• Outstanding project management skills
• Self starter that is constantly thinking of new ways to add value to his teammates and taking individual accountability for getting results
• Curiosity and hunger to know how things work and ability to use that knowledge to make connections and find opportunities for innovation
• Detail oriented, able to identify key questions, make product decisions and determine how pieces of the puzzle interact and impact the overall project
• Comfortable working in a fast paced, high pressure environment
• Excellent communication skills with ability to engage, influence and inspire partners to drive collaboration and alignment
• Agile (Scrum) experience
Basic qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree
• At least 7 years of Product Management / Product Development experience within AdTech industry
• Experience with building Ad Networks, DSPs, exchanges and/or DMPs (Display, Video)
