UM - Senior Vice President, Client Business Partner
Position Summary
The Client Business Partner oversees all business operations, brand strategy and plays the most critical Client-facing role. This role manages the overall client relationship, a talented team of media professionals, client deliverables, the overall planning strategy and UM’s business/financial goals. The Client Business Partner must be willing to take full responsibility for the quality of work, operational efficiencies and growth of the account. They are expected to be a leader, capable of optimizing current efforts and bringing new insights to clients through a mixture of innovation and forward thinking.
Essential Functions
• Drive agency integration, act as an agent of change and motivator throughout UM
• Operate as the senior client contact, actively driving strategic planning activities with responsibility for integrating all UM and Mediabrands services on assigned accounts
• Frame client expectations and make every effort to exceed them, providing quality work and ensuring all deliverables are met in a timely manner within the Clients scope of work
• Promote an open working environment where opinions, views and ideas can be shared
• Spearhead strategic discussions with analytics and investment teams to focus execution and solutions across all channels
• Act as a senior consultant and strategic adviser to clients and staff
• Responsible for the development/review of compensation arrangements; client profitability
Qualifications
Education:
• Bachelor degree in related field or equivalent work experience
Work Experience:
• 10-15+ years of experience in Strategy, Planning and/or Digital Media with strong ability to lead media planning process, client management and brand strategy
• 8+ years of experience managing and developing staff
Skills:
• Strong project management skills with the ability to ensure consistency and best practices across all projects
• Significant experience/involvement in new business planning and presentations
• Ability to drive projects from conception to completion
