Job Description
PLATFORM is GroupM’s marketing technology suite that empowers clients with the industry’s most robust collection of consumer and media intelligence for smarter planning, activation, and media measurement across all media formats and screens. PLATFORM makes it possible for media planners at GroupM agencies to use the most detailed consumer data to maximize results for their clients. It is supported by a team of data scientists, technologists and digital practitioners from across GroupM specialist companies.
Your Challenge
We are seeking a Marketing Director to incept, drive, and execute a successful marketing strategy for the [m]PLATFORM suite of products. This is not a “typical” tech product marketing role - we are looking for an imaginative and strategic thinker, who can creatively shape and influence the hearts and minds of our internal account teams toward the [m]PLATFORM solution.
Reporting to the EVP of Product and working closely with the GroupM CMO, on a daily basis you will:
• Build relationships with GroupM agency account teams and gain a deep understanding of their perceptions and increase awareness and adoption of the [m]PLATFORM solution.
• Develop a clear understanding of the [m]PLATFORM product suite and be able to communicate product information simply and idiomatically to account teams
• Define and lead development of all product-related and go-to-market content
• Partner with Product Management, Data Science and Engineering to understand the value of new products and evangelize solutions and features both internally and externally
• Deliver high-quality written product materials and collateral (white papers, customer success stories, case studies, demos) designed to improve communication with customers
• Track and measure the impact of marketing efforts
• Participate in customer segmentation and analysis activities
Professional Skills and Requirements:
• BA/BS Degree from a top-tier academic institution; liberal arts or heavily liberal-arts-influenced technical education
• 6+ years’ experience in progressively responsible roles within and around the Marketing function.
• Experience in solutions-oriented or consultative marketing-driven cultures.
• Demonstrated ability to create compelling marketing programs and driving projects to completion.
• Ability to operate successfully in startup-like and/or matrixed organizations;
• Experience working in digital platform companies, ad tech or consultancies a plus
• Proven creative problem solver in a technical or analytical environment
