This position facilitates and stewards all components of the media contracts. The role acts as liaison to all departments that impact contracts and coordinates activity throughout all teams. Activities are undertaken and executed in support of organizational goals and are accountable for providing business process solutions to meet expectations of the Head of Media Operations as well as the Executive Management Committee.
Responsibilities
• Subject Matter Expert of Advertising Agency/Media Agency business terms
• Expert comprehension of IAB terms and Agency Insertion Orders
• Expert comprehension of custom content agreements with Publishers
• Work with different levels of personnel within an organization to analyze terms of contracts
• Coordinate actions with internal media business partners and legal team
• Report status of current contracts and processes to the Head of Media Operations
• Develop and maintain language standards and rules for existing and new contracts
• Serve as a liaison between internal and external parties during contract development and negotiation stages
• Negotiate terms, conditions and pricing, and ensure they are accurately executed and satisfied
• Analyze potential risks that contract changes may pose to the organization and our clients
• Ensure all deadlines and conditions described on contracts are met
• Additional responsibilities as delegated by the Head of Media Operations
Qualifications
• 5-7 years of Operations experience in the advertising industry, Agency side preferred
• Bachelors Degree
• Proven work experience in Business Affairs, Contract Management or relevant role
• Attention to detail and the ability to spot errors and inconsistencies
• Excellent reading and language comprehension
• Ability to work across offices
• Highly motivated self-starter
• Demonstrated ability to resolve complex problems
• Knowledge of legal requirements involved with contracts
• Excellent writing skills
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to work with varying seniority levels, including staff, managers and external partners
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Products, particularly in word
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
