At FCB/Red Chicago, the Strategic Planning Director sets the vision for innovative and engaging customer experiences across channels. This person seeks out a holistic understanding of how people live, shop and use products to craft engaging retail strategies. The ideal candidate will tirelessly aspire to achieve the “A-Ha! Moment,” through which insight and opportunity are realized.
the position
• Serves as strategy lead on an innovative technology retail client.
• Understands latest retail trends and strategies.
• Writes and delivers inspiring creative briefs, category POV’s and stays on top of latest technology innovations.
• Seeks out white spaces for the brand and identifies opportunities for the agency.
• Collaborates with planning analytics team to set research objectives, identify KPI’s, draft research plans, review surveys, mine insights and package findings into actionable stories.
• Forges strong relationships with retail marketing clients and collaborates closely with account and agency partners.
Qualifications

• 10+ years of relevant industry experience
• Curious minded: seeks out trends that are shapping culture today
• Has earned a Bachelor’s Degree
the expertise
• Primary research design, planning and execution experience
• Great communicator, influencer and storyteller
• Strong understanding of shopper and/or retail marketing
• Data synthesizer and insight developer
• Data analytics (social, google, etc)
• Multicultural experience a plus
