Sizmek is seeking a Senior Publisher Development professional to help grow our existing exchange and inventory business. This position will be primarily responsible for managing and growing our direct publisher relationships. Role will also include working with publishers within an exchange environment.
The ideal candidate would combine sales, business development, and account management skills with (or a strong desire to become more engaged on) business strategy.
What You’ll Do:
• Work with Chief Growth Officer and head of Partnerships and Business Development to sell solutions to publishers, ad networks, content owners and channel partners
• Prospect and close new business within a defined account target list and grow revenue and scope of work from existing client base.
• Build strong relationships with customers and partners to ensure long-term success.
• Manage new and existing client campaigns to successfully meet and exceed client performance expectations. Share expertise and advise clients on new opportunities to generate continued results
• Actively participate in all phases of account maintenance and development and work with internal account management and ad operations to ensure client satisfaction
• Track and manage sales pipeline and account activities in salesforce
What you need:
• Strong understanding of online advertising industry from both ad sales, ad technology, and media buying
• At least 5-7 years previous experience in a business development or sales role in online media or ad technology with a working knowledge of programmatic media and the publisher ecosystem.
• Intelligent, outgoing individual with strong interpersonal skills and work ethic
• Willing to travel to build/grow advertiser relationships
• Active in industry trade and networking events
• Excellent business writing, training, communication, organizational and presentation skills
• Ability to work independently, while being open to direction and guidance
• Travel as needed
• Comprehensive experience with MS Office a must
• Good analytical skills in both understanding marketer objectives and analyzing campaign performance
• Publisher and ad network contacts at both senior and junior levels a plus
• Bachelor's degree from accredited university
