UM - Vice President, Portfolio Management
Position Summary
UM is looking for a dynamic, strategic thinker who is looking to grow with us. The role will require streamlining the process and a strong POV on how the team should operate. Essential Functions
• Oversee development of media strategies consistent with brand marketing objectives
• Senior client management on account overseeing several product lines across a client portfolio
• Look for and deliver new and innovative solutions to client business issues and challenges
• Provide thought leadership and guide strategic direction for media planning and buying across TV, Digital, Radio, OOH, and Print
• Responsible for stewardship of all financials across business units
• Develop and maintain excellent working relationships with all internal / external agency departments/disciplines including: Strategy, Investment, Analytics and Creative Agencies
• Ensure best practices are used across department and account responsibilities
• Plan, direct, supervise, and coordinate work activities of subordinates and handle all personnel requirements for immediate staff including training and development
Qualifications
Education:
• Bachelor's degree required
Work Experience:
• Strong business acumen
• 10+ years of experience in media planning
• 5+ years of experience mentoring and managing a team
Skills:
• Solid awareness of industry trends and planning/measurement models
• Understanding of marketing and communications process
• Experience with multiple business categories
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously & thrive in fast paced environment
• Collaborative mindset
• Strong presentation skills in internal, vendor, and client meetings
• Proficient at turning data in actionable insights
