ISC - Director
The Ipsos Science Center is a uniquely positioned group within Ipsos. We develop software tools and perform analyses both for clients and internal teams, respond to advanced analytic requests, and consult on a broad range of statistical, behavioral, and computer science best practices. Working in a collaborative and supportive environment, we seek to expand what is possible in market research with data science.
We’re looking for someone with a deep interest in data and analytics as well as experience in project management. We need someone that possesses the technical ability and the communication skills to implement marketing science and data science methods for a diverse set of client needs, uncover insights, and relate them concisely and clearly to stakeholders at varying levels of technical sophistication.
As a Director in the ISC, you will:
• Work closely with team members on design and execution of project efforts, including questionnaire design, project management, statistical analysis, and reporting.
• Design questionnaires and plan analyses;
• Perform quality checks at various stages of the research to ensure accuracy, and to avoid errors or mistakes;
• Manage overall project timelines, ensuring that milestones are met and signed off at the various stages of the project execution;
• Analyze and interpret survey results;
• Prepare reports and presentations;
• Develop an understanding of our clients’ business issues and the industries in which they operate;
• Support other marketing science analyses for clients as required.
• Develop sales materials on new Data Science and traditional Marketing Science methods for internal and external client education and sales.
• Communicate with and provide consulting for internal teams and external clients on data models, analysis findings, process efficiency, and marketing science best practices.
Required Skills:
• Bachelor’s degree in an analytical or insights-focused field such as economics, marketing, political science, psychology or statistics;
• Comfortable working in a highly collaborative, consensus-oriented environment;
• Experience with full life-cycle project management to include design, development, execution, and delivery;
• Experience in analytics, extracting and surfacing value from quantitative data;
• Strong eye for detail, ability to communicate scientific concepts both in written form and verbally, and excellent time-management skills;
• •Strong organizational, multi-tasking, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities.
Pluses:
• Experience in the field of Market Research;
• Familiarity with questionnaire design, sampling approaches, and tabulation planning;
• Experience working with survey applications such as Qualtrics, Google Consumer Surveys, etc.;
• Proficiency with statistical applications such as SPSS, SAS, Stata, R and/or programming languages such as Python
