Overview
Associate Director – Project Management
We’re searching for an Associate Director of Project Management,a proven digital project manager and leader with a passion for the creative process and emerging technologies who can lead the production of world-class interactive experiences for large-scale client engagements. You’ll lead a team of project managers in the execution of dynamic digital activations and integrated campaigns for Fortune 500 clients. Our project work includes site design and development, digital and social media campaigns, digital partnership activations and promotions, eCommerce and CMS implementations, CRM programs and branded entertainment and content.
As an Associate Director, you will architect plans that allow the teams to create exciting work, help foster team growth and development, partner with your account peers to build and maintain strong client relationships, surmount obstacles by presenting solutions, and always endeavor to make the work better. To succeed, you will need to be a creative advocate, have a passion for technology, maintain a deep project management toolkit, and exude excellent communication skills.
Tasks and responsibilities include:
• Produce dynamic digital or multimedia experiences and engagements
• Develop and implement executional strategies for client projects
• Partner with clients, executives and team members to plan, scope and produce great work
• Lead Producers on client engagements, ensuring that they deliver great work in the smartest way possible
• Plan for, manage and mitigate risk throughout multiple projects.
• Help with the development of intellectual capital for the capability and for client projects
• Identify opportunities and implement solutions to improve client and team dynamics, interactions and overall collaborative spirit
• Identify best practices and develop new systems, processes and tools for complex integrated client work
• Guide continual process improvement and documentation of best practices
• Balance the needs of clients and internal teams
• Advocate for the creative process
• Facilitate collaboration
• Help provide training and mentoring to your team
To qualify, you’ll need:
• Possess an expert knowledge of modern digital deliverables, capabilities and processes
• A robust portfolio of industry-leading digital projects
• 7-9 years of experience in digital or multi-channel programs
• At least 2 years of experience leading other Project Managers
• Strong Web Technologies knowledge
• Experience working with Agile methodologies
• Working knowledge of JIRA
• Demonstrated leadership skills
• Effective negotiation and conflict management skills
• Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment
• A strong ability to mobilize teams to meet common goals
• Creative or technical agency experience desired
• Proficiency in Microsoft Project and Excel
• Candidate must be open to travel as needed
• PMP and/or CSM preferred
• Four year degree
