Vice President / Director – Marketing Operations

The Marketing Operations solutions team is dedicated to helping us transform the marketing landscape by bridging process and technology platforms to align with client creative, strategy, and business goals.
To help with this, we’re looking for an outstanding Vice President / Director– someone who is devoted to helping our Marketing Operations capability and our agency grow, and is passionate about how technology and marketing work together to strategically solve our clients’ business challenges.

What you’ll do:
As Vice President/Director of Marketing Operations,you have a deep understanding of the digital marketing world and the ins and outs of the client relationship. You will nurture existing client relationships to drive organic growth as well as identify and sell in new client opportunities. You’ll profitably manage resource allocation and effectively lead teams to successfully implement and manage cross-channel marketing programs.
Day-to-day, your role includes:
• Eloquently articulating DigitasLBi’s views on digital business philosophies, keeping clients up-to-date on the latest technologies
• Taking on an influential role in supporting new business initiatives, and leveraging client relationships in the development of business growth
• Maintaining a strong understanding of changes in the client’s industry and how customer needs are adapting, and developing relevant case studies on client businesses
• Delivering strategic client presentations and providing recommendations that are concise, insightful and on point
• Partnering with clients and capability partners to enable business transformation
• Developing team members through training and identifying areas for growth – you’ll coach them to close talent gaps and motivate them to develop skills
• Driving the culture of DigitasLBi and managing the capability to adapt to changing environments and needs
• Developing and growing alliances with various marketing cloud technology vendor partners
• Leading the implementation (in some client cases) and activation of MarTech platforms; identifying opportunities and providing recommendations for platform optimization through strong understanding of product roadmaps in correlation to client business goals
We’re looking for strong, impactful work experience, which typically includes:
• Four years of college education, an MBA degree preferred, and 10+ years of experience in a direct marketing environment with data and technology-oriented responsibility and client leadership experience (preferably at a digital agency)
• A demonstrated passion for the latest marketing technologies and proven success in bringing these technologies to life for our clients
• In-depth knowledge of CRM and Marketing Automation landscape, with deep knowledge of Salesforce Marketing Cloud,other Marketing Automation platforms, and niche solutions providers
• Direct knowledge of Salesforce Sales and Service Clouds as to how they integrate with Salesforce Marketing Cloud is secondary need
• Demonstrated skills in driving innovation in the email and direct marketing space
• Prior successful experience managing a large team in an operational client engagement
• Superb communication, presentation, selling, solutions forward thinking and training skills – you’re articulate, concise, engaging and effective
• An impressive track record of project management and performance management skills – you’re known for your ability to coach and develop talent, inspire and drive change, and bring varied groups together to collaborate
• Willingness to travel – you’re open to new places, new faces and new ideas
