SUMMARY
Are you a natural collaborator who brings together diverse teams to achieve a common goal? As a Senior Account Director on our FreemanXP team, you will bemanaging a key client relationship and their unique account. Ensuring that key resources are deployed will secure our client's satisfaction. This will be accomplished through close partnership with the client solutions and business development teams. You will have the opportunity to incorporate your expertise in Account Management in order to elevate the successes of our large complex and strategic accounts. You will also be impacting this role by:
• Establishes and manages project teams, setting clear and measurable expectations, driving communications to all team members involved (internal and external) and ensuring accounts are on track and on budget. Works with leadership to identify resources (roles & responsibilities) needed for program support.
• Works with multiple accounts and functions as the main contact on assigned accounts.
• Contributes to the growth of our specific assigned vertical market segments through thought leadership, planning and account planning activities.
• Expands and deepens service offering across all Freeman products and services. Applies a strategic account management approach to key accounts.
• Ensures the successful management of all communications, both internal and external related to account assignments.
• Provides clear direction, information and expectations to team members, vendors, suppliers and additional resources.
• Ensures all account relationships on track. This includes successful relationship building, program execution and delivery on customer service imperatives
• Ensures quality control and highest possible output for all deliverables from FreemanXP departments including (creative, strategy, operations, production, entertainment and digital).
• Anticipates and closely manages potential obstacles, builds back-up plans, and escalates as needed to senior leadership.
• Manages overall profitability of individual programs as well as specific account assignments.
• Provides reports on key account relationships to senior leadership. Prepares all account updates including quarterly Account Plans including sales forecasts, staffing and resource needs and business development plans, related to individual accounts.
• Sets the bar by example and operates at the highest level of the value chain by delivering exceptional strategic, creative and operational excellence with the highest degree of customer service.
• Stays current on industry trends, event marketing activities and general marketing practices.
• Works with VP, Account Director to determine specific growth targets and metrics.
• Identifies new business opportunities on assigned targets.
• Performs other duties as directed.
REQUIREMENTS
• Minimum of 8+ years’ experience within marketing or event industry.
• Strategic account management experience
• Skilled and successful in conducting strategic discussions at the highest possible level within a client organization in order to build relationships and deliver on a value-added proposition with both internal team members and external partners and clients.
• Demonstrated project and team leadership skills
• Financially acumen with the ability to deliver on P&L benchmarks.
• Ability to track and manage teams allocation/reallocation of hours and efforts.
• Proven communication and interpersonal skills with the proven ability to present to a wide range of C-level audiences.
• Flexibility with a positive can-do attitude and an ability to anticipate needs – client and team members.
EDUCATION
• Bachelor's Degree
Preferred
• CEM (Certified in Exhibition Management), CPSP (Certified Professional Sales Person) or CRSP (Certified and Registered Sales Professional).
