Our Strategists and Planners work closely with media and analytics to create impactful, integrated, and measurable strategic platforms. They’re thought leaders who find the best approach to clearly present data that drives innovation. They uncover cultural insights that surface opportunities and meaning for brands, and create detailed, yet simple presentations that tell stories and provide recommendations that contribute to the strategic direction of client work.
Here’s what you should know if you want to be a Strategy Director at R/GA:
On any given day you might
• Serve as the strategic leader for a specific business, and take accountability for growing that business
• Partner with other account leads to guide our most senior clients towards bold and innovative solutions
• Demonstrate business and audience analysis that leads to client growth solutions
• Translate strategic discoveries into inspiring briefs and roadmaps for our clients
• Work with creative, production and account partners to create industry leading work and sell innovative strategies to clients
The ideal person
• Has a proven track record of successfully leading clients into new strategic areas
• Has a deep and broad understanding of key business drivers and can deliver solutions
• Is well versed in most forms of quantitative and qualitative research methodologies, and working knowledge of when and how to apply them
• Is innately curious and has an insight into human behavior, and an instinct for popular culture
• Is able to work across different groups and disciplines to push the work forward and elevate brand potential
• Is familiar with cross-channel strategies, including traditional and digital advertising, direct response programs, email, website development, mobile, search and social media
You bring
• 7+ years’ experience in strategic planning
Bonus points
• If you have your MBA
• If you have retail experience and are familiar with Loyalty Marketing, CRM, Shopper Marketing and Experiential Marketing
