Medibrands Data & Technology - Vice President, Business and Audience Analytics
Position Summary
Mediabrands Data & Technology is searching for a talented, dynamic professional to join their team as a Vice President of Business and Audience Analytics. This individual should be a proven expert in applying and fitting diverse analytic methodologies to problem solving in the area of digital marketing, measurement and learning plans, brand tracking and programmatic techniques involving Data management platforms, DSP, SSP and PMPs. The candidate should be comfortable and highly confident in presenting to and engaging with clients. Also, this position requires the ability to discuss analytic methodology and approaches necessary to solve specific business issues. This professional will have a strong understanding and ability to work with the business and analytic teams to shape and manage scope, develop statements-of-work that are consistent with scope, price, capabilities and timelines, drive quality assurance and project delivery and lead/assist the team in effectively delivering multiple projects to multiple clients on a timely, accurate and complete basis.
Essential Functions
• Responsible for developing and maintaining media analytics for Mediabrands clients across display, search, mobile & social channels.
• Coordinate with Client Services and optimization teams to deliver key insights and insure optimization efforts are executed in a timely and accurate manner
• Develop comprehensive performance analysis benchmarks, case studies and presentations with regards to marketplace supply/demand
• Effectively work with clients to diagnose solutions to key organizational challenges and develop value-based roadmaps that support the application of Mediabrands Data and Technology's solutions to solve client business issues on a continuous and repeatable basis
• Work with client and internal teams to translate data and model results into tactical and strategic insights that are complete, accurate, relevant, understandable and applicable to client businesses and needs. Present to and work with clients to integrate recommendations into business processes.
• Work with team and operations to maximize project delivery quality, timeliness and efficiencies in order to deliver high-value and relevant insights to our clients as quickly and effectively as possible.
Qualifications
Education:
• Bachelor's degree required
Work Experience:
• 5+ years of related experience
Skills:
• Experience in online media metrics and analysis; specific work with various reporting tools, including web analytics
• Comprehensive understanding of data management platforms, their applications and use cases across industries
• Knowledge of ad networks, exchanges and/or auction marketplaces
• Exposure DSP/Ad servers protocols and reporting (DFA, Atlas, x+1, Turn)
• Exposure to social analytical tools
• Familiarity with general Tools and packages (Tableau, SPSS, R)
• Ability to apply statistical analysis methods and techniques with the assistance of appropriate software tools
• Proficiency in Excel (advanced features in Excel considered: Macros, complex formulas
• Exemplary business judgment as well as problem solving and analytical skills, with a proven record of leadership and innovation
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including a keen ability to be persistent while remaining personable
