About the Role
Our Employee Engagement & Change Management (EECM) specialty sits within our Corporate Practice and works with leading global brands to help galvanize and engage their most important asset – their workforce. We are a global team of experts focused on aligning leaders and employees around shared business objectives, impacting organizational culture, and fueling brand advocacy to deliver results. The EECM team also consults on client opportunities like large scale change management initiatives (M&A, rebranding, cultural transformation) to proactively drive and execute a variety of programs, projects and strategies that help to inform, connect and engage internal workforces. The EECM team is looking to add a Vice President who can lead client consulting projects, develop new business, mentor teams, and contribute to thought leadership.
Responsibilities
• Lead projects in a consulting environment and lead projects consisting of 5 or more people, or projects over $500k in budget
• Pursue new business opportunities and work with pursuit teams to conduct research; create proposed strategies, approaches and tactics; and develop budget and timeline estimates
• As a member of a cross functional team, work with other Weber Shandwick practices, drive holistic business solutions for our clients that will have tangible and quantitative results on their bottom line
• Supervise project staff by motivating, coaching, consistently providing feedback, holding them accountable and conducting their reviews
• Serve as daily client contact and act as client lead when appropriate; address client issues thoughtfully and effectively
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
• At least 7-10 years developing and driving employee and/or executive communication strategies and change management initiatives for large, complex organizations
• At least five years’ agency or a consulting firm experience
• Combines critical thinking with solutions orientation; rigorous approach to project management
• Adaptable self-starter skilled at creating structure in ambiguous environments
• Strong business and financial acumen
• Strong communications skills
Additional Qualifications:
• Experience working in healthcare or technology industries a plus
