Kantar’s Marketing Science/ Analytics team is a key enabler for surfacing connected data intelligence, working across a wide variety of statistical techniques such as driver analyses, segmentation, marketing mix modelling, multi-touch attribution modelling, and discrete choice modelling. This position reports to a senior leader within the Marketing Science Team. The role may be based in any of the major cities above with preference for the west coast.

KEY OUTCOMES & ROLE EXPECTATIONS
As Director, Marketing Science, you will:
Consult with clients and internal client management staff to provide analytical solutions to solve complex business questions and deliver better insights.
Contribute to the design and development of new analytical solutions, software application tools and other ongoing innovation initiatives to improve efficiency of the team.
Collaborate and build relationships within Marketing Science and Client Account teams across Kantar Insights operating companies to facilitate analytics-based training, solutions scaling and business development growth.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Gather and build analytic plan based on research requirements, and work with our Marketing Science team to execute and achieve timeline, budget and quality goals of the engagement.
Be responsible for the programming and execution of a wide range of advanced statistical analyses, as needed for the relevant problem,
Facilitate communication between the client team, and on-shore/off-shore delivery teams in all aspects of engagement, as needed.
Present findings in a way that addresses not only the interpretation of the statistical results, but the business implications of the contributing analysis.
CAPABILITIES
To succeed, you will need:
Minimum 7+ years of experience working in an advanced analytics role within market research industry or analytics consultancy or a media agency.
Master’s degree in Statistics or other applied quantitative discipline.
Background in SPSS, R, SAS required. Experience with Python, SQL, Tableau, D3 Javascript and Simulator development tools is preferred
Functional experience in media analytics and familiarity with analysing digital behavioral data and social listening data is preferred. Experience in marketing research and media communications is desirable
Knowledge and experience with advanced analytics solutions such as time-series regressions, marketing mix modelling, attribution modelling, structural equation modelling, segmentation and discrete choice conjoint techniques
Comfort in proposing and presenting to insights audiences; strong written and verbal communication skills.
People management experience a plus.
