VP, EXECUTIVE CREATIVE DIRECTOR
VP, Executive Creative Directors at Critical Mass are the main drivers behind our creative product. Their job is to make sure that our work matches the highest standards in the industry. They are “roll your sleeves up” individuals that still contribute to the creative output of our agency. Has a skill set that develops award winning digital experiences, the passion for design and an appreciation for the impact it can have on changing a clients business. Core to their skills is their ability to lead, grow and motivate a team. They will oversee all creative projects in their office through execution, and manage, mentor and develop their team. This is a critical role at our agency and to our success, reflected in the fact they will be part of our global Creative Council that drives our creative philosophy, process and product.
RESPONSIILITIES:
• Oversee all creative and creative process in the Chicago office.
• Review all creative work in the Chicago office and maintain the quality of the work in Chicago.
• Lead the creative on our major local clients.
• Provide on-going personal mentorship to the creative department.
• Be the creative presence at Chicago management meetings and town hall meetings.
• Develop, implement and monitor the annual creative department growth plan.
• Clearly articulate to clients and the agency our creative philosophy.
• Work with our CCO to develop their team and business in the Chicago office.
• Lead creative in the new business process.
• Partner with the Chicago Strategy lead to develop unified creative briefs.
• Work with the agency’s PR partner regional and national press.
• Manage the Chicago work for national and international awards.
REQUIREMENTS:
• 10+ Years in digital experience design and leading teams within an agency.
• Experience with Sketch, InVision and Principle
• Demonstrate fantastic communication skills and a meticulous eye for detail.
• Proven ability to deliver great work on time and on budget.
• Delivered award winning creative work.
• Ability to manage and deliver on multiple client engagements at the same time.
• Proven ability to manage and sell ideas to clients.
• Track record of winning new business.
• Ability to work and collaborate with other disciplines within the agency.
• Track record of hiring and building a strong creative team.
