VICE PRESIDENT, CLIENT PARTNER
The Vice President, Client Partner provides overall direction and leadership to Mitsubishi, as well as facilitates communication between clients, office staff and internal teams. A senior level strategist and leader, the VP, CP is responsible for managing, building, and growing client relationships. This seasoned leader understands how to develop people as well as build high-energy, multi-disciplinary teams that work in different geographic locations. The VP, CP must bring a professional and structured approach to business and client services that reflects the culture, service and capabilities of Critical Mass championing best in class work on behalf of the agency.
The VP, CP is regarded by the client as an expert and trusted advisor. He/she will be embedded with our clients working across strategic, conceptual and executional projects that elevate the end customer experience and solve complex business challenges. He/she will be responsible for working with clients to collect business objectives, set and manage expectations, connect projects in with the larger ecosystem of the brand’s marketing initiatives and ensure the work and team are tracking toward the vision and roadmap set forth. Disciplines and formats include digital channels, content strategy, and use of new technologies. It’s key that the CP, VP can lead their team counterparts in creative, strategy and analytics to package the work and work streams into a coherent and meaningful narrative on the role it plays in the overall business and how that connects with the bottom line.
Responsibilities:
• Directs all aspects of Mitsubishi’s business.
• Establishes and owns a vision for the overall account team and process.
• Builds internal team – understand capabilities, manages performance.
• Partners with other agencies and clients to contribute to the overall
• objectives of the business.
• Owns financial management and overall profitability.
• Takes responsibility for overall client satisfaction.
Requirements:
• English/Japanese bilingual.
• 10+ Years of agency or consulting experience with a proven track record of establishing senior level client relationship.
• Experience on global accounts.
• Excellent communication skills and a meticulous eye for detail.
• Experience in digital campaign creation and digital experience design.
• Delivered best in class/award winning creative work.
• Comfortable wearing a few hats within team and rolling up sleeves to support other disciplines.
• Comfortable with data and analytics, building business cases to help sell creative work.
• Proficiency with current issues and trends within the online marketing industry, emphasis on emerging media and mobile platforms.
• Auto category experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher.
