Job Description
Ad Verification
The Ad Verification Team is part of the Plan Enablement team and is responsible for brand safety for Team IBM. In addition, they manage the makegood process including verification of delivery per IBM requirements. The group is responsible for weekly, biweekly, and quarterly reporting, white and black list management, blocking and targeting management, oversight and development of Team IBM’s proprietary ad verification reporting tool (the DAV Tool) and the development of brand safety position papers and educational pieces.
Overview of position
• Oversee the development and dissemination of weekly partner reports, biweekly client reports and quarterly make good trackers
• Oversee the white and black list process including development, dissemination, and implementation of each list
• Liaise with ad verification provider to analyze and understand data discrepancies
• Liaise with Plan Activation Team and Media Partners to ensure adherence to IBM’s advertising guidelines including viewability, fraud, out-of-inclusion, etc.
• Liaise with Search, Social, and Programmatic teams to ensure consistent ad verification approach across channels
• Compile POVs on current ad verification topics, providers, and solutions
• Oversee Ad Verification training of Team IBM
• Assist in onboarding new partners and work with ad verification team to train partners on IBM requirements and DAV tool
• Manage data analyst, ad verification planner, and assistant media planner
Requirements:
• Three to five years of experience in Paid Media
• Solid knowledge of display and programmatic media, search marketing tools, tracking and tagging methods, and various analytic packages
• Well versed in ad verification policies and procedures and 3rd party ad verification companies and their capabilities
• Strong leadership and managerial skills
• Client management skills to interact with stakeholders at multiple levels in the ad verification process
• Excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to identify a problem and jump in to find a resolution
• Mindset towards process optimization and efficiency, both through manual processes and through technology
• Ability to work with tight deadlines and on multiple projects, demonstrating a mature ability to handle many things at once under pressure
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Maintain a strong familiarity, if not outright expertise, with Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and macros
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
