Who we’re looking for:
POSSIBLE New York is looking for a Director, Marketing Sciences who is a thought leader with digital strategy experience. In this role, you will encounter a dynamic environment with opportunities to influence the evolution of digital analytics as it relates to global campaigns for our clients. POSSIBLE is a pioneer in the use of analytics to develop strategic site optimization plans that become an integral part of our clients’ overall business model. Our analysts work closely with our creative, development and client relationship teams to deliver exceptional, results-driven work that is based on data-driven insights. We pride ourselves on building advanced models for major global clients that allow marketers more flexibility in their decision making, beyond the traditional visit and conversion metrics.
What you’ll do:
• Deliver and grow our digital marketing analytics and optimization book of work with key clients.
• Provide strategic direction that demonstrates a measurable impact on business.
• Provide innovative thought leadership that enhances group capabilities.
• Participate in new business pitches and project scoping across the entire spectrum of group services.
• Help clients define digital channel goals, key drivers and performance metrics.
• Analyze digital analytics data as well as other on- and offline data to evaluate performance.
• Collaborate with usability experts, IA specialists, user research, designers and developers to recommend solutions to identified problems.
• Define A/B/MVT test scenarios and success metrics.
• Develop financial models for various online and offline visitor events.
• Conduct customer segmentation modeling and analysis to drive content decisions.
• Lead analytics/optimization instrumentation and configuration projects.
What you’ll need:
• MBA or equivalent business experience.
• 8+ years of web strategy background. Agency experience preferred.
• Strong, working familiarity with statistics and statistical concepts.
• Experience working with senior managers and executives.
• Strong familiarity with behavioral and attitudinal data sets.
• Web optimization experience is highly preferred.
• Experience managing a team.
• Direct response marketing and CRM experience.
• Understands Web Analytics: Omniture, WebTrends, Google Analytics and/or other web analytics tools.
• Experience with Ad serving tools: DoubleClick, Atlas.
• Knowledgeable Social monitoring tools: Crimson Hexagon, Visible Technologies, Nielsen BuzzMetrics, Radian6, TNS Cymphony and other tools.
• A/B/n or multivariate Testing tools and A/B/MVT Testing knowledge.
• SPSS or other data mining/statistical analysis software.
• Strong, working familiarity with statistics and statistical concepts.
• Experience with benchmarking - industry, competitive and/or vertical views.
