OUR TEAM
The BuyerVision Data and Platform team builds the infrastructure for Brand and Retailers to execute their Digital Advertising and Promotions Campaigns. The platform supports the full Campaign Lifecycle across the Marketers Media Spend. This infrastructure powers billions of impressions through our partnerships with Media Execution Partners. You will work with a talented team of developers to ingest data from partners, process the data, and deliver the data for audience targeting, measurement and reporting at internet scale for the leading CPG Brands and Retailers.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
Catalina has an unparalleled shopper dataset that puts Catalina in the unique position to close the loop from online and offline. Your responsibility is to bring this data asset to life, by enabling the CPG Brands and Retailers to achieved the Highest Yield on Marketing Spend as measured by in-store purchases.
You will work closely with Product Management, Developers, Architects and Operations while leading the team through all the hurdles on the path to a successful delivery of the product. We are looking for people who fear no detail, love new technology and are driven to execute.
In this role, you will be a key member of the Product Team responsible for delivering incredible value through innovative new online advertising and digital promotion solutions that connect Advertisers with their audiences across display, mobile and video channels.
The ideal candidate will have a background in ad tech and be capable of working through complex problems with our engineering team, while at the same time being able to simplify and translate business needs with input from internal and external stakeholders.
In this high visibility position, you will work with an extremely sharp and motivated team of individuals within a fast-paced Agile environment, with the ability to have a direct impact on revenue.
Position reports to the Executive Director of Product Management.
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TEAM
• 10+ years’ experience as a product manager, engineering lead, or combination of the two
• 2+ years software architecture experience
• Be able to read and comprehend a variety of programming languages.
• Experience with Data Management Platforms DMP
• Experience with Identity Management, Cookies, Mobile App IDs and Cross Device Identity
• Familiar with protocols like HTTP and TCP/IP, architectural conventions like RESTful API design and concepts of algorithmic complexity
• Experience with NoSQL data stores (Cassandra, Hadoop, HBase)
• Proficient in SQL, able to generate complex ad-hoc queries
• Experience with Cloud Computing basics
• Domain experience in Programmatic Advertising in display, mobile, video or TV highly desired
• Additional Experience in Digital Coupons and Promotions a huge plus.
• Experience consuming APIs, writing scripts to automate simple tasks, creating mockups / POCs
• Ability to problem solve quickly and generate flexible solutions
• Past success managing complex products and integrations in medium to large organizations.
• Proficient in Agile development, and able to integrate tightly with business and operations teams.
• Excellent communication and technical writing skills.
• Travel ~10%.
• Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or related work experience. MBA Preferred.
ADDITIONAL PREFERRED SKILLS
• BS in Engineering, Computer Science or a related field. MBA preferred.
• 10 years of product or technical experience in a software or internet business.
• Demonstrated aptitude in core product management processes, and familiarity with working in an agile development or lean startup environment
• Strong time management, business and organizational skills.
• Good communication and presentation skills.
