UM - Associate Director, Digital
Position Summary
The Associate Director, Digital is responsible for developing, executing, and monitoring all digital media strategy and plans for the Sony Pictures Entertainment (Theatrical) account. Ideal candidate will bring a love of movies & pop culture and a desire to work in a fast-paced environment with great people!
Essential Functions:
• Oversee development, execution and optimization of all digital media plans. Liaise with Strategy/planning team to deliver integrated media plan to broader team
• Key client contact in plan development process, partner selection and overall recommendation
• Manage deliverables and expectations with clients on a daily basis
• Represent work to clients through both formal and informal presentations
• Collaborate with internal teams (Planning, Search, Social, Analytics, Programmatic) to ensure alignment with and delivery against client KPIs
• Oversee upfront allocations planning, assist in negotiations & deal evaluation. Track & manage upfront inventory throughout year
• Build and maintain relationships with media publishers
• Motivate and manage team in the creation, development and execution of digital media plans, programs and tactics
◦ Provide mentoring and coaching to develop team
◦ Ensure team delivers upon objectives within budget and time parameters
• Support VP/SVP in managing account and delivering on agency business initiatives
Requirements & Skills:
• 6+ years digital experience
• 3+ years management experience
• Strong background in data-driven marketing solutions including: DSPs, DMPs, data and analytics, etc
• Proven knowledge of online planning and research tools/resources
• Client management experience and proven ability to foster strong relationships
• Strong presentation skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to think strategically
• Must be a self-starter who works well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
