Paid Social Account Director
ABOUT THE ROLE
The fast-growing Paid Social arm of our Biddable Media team is looking for an Account Director or experienced Account Manager to oversee several key accounts, which range from FMCG, retail, fashion, gaming, finance, publishing and many other industries.
The perfect candidate will have strong experience working in an agency planning or digital activation role and know the Facebook Ad Platform inside-out, while knowledge of Twitter, LinkedIn, Google, YouTube or other biddable ad platforms is valued.
This role will act as an expert on all things Paid Social for both our clients and internal planning teams, whilst managing a team of account managers and executives responsible for the planning and delivery of campaigns.
This role provides the perfect platform for the candidate to join an award-winning team and learn from a wide range of clients, industries and digital disciplines, which are of central importance to today’s advertising and media industry.
KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Being a source of expertise in Biddable Media – particularly Paid Social – for the wider business and our clients
• Day-to-day management of a team of managers and executives
• Planning biddable media campaign strategies and tactics
• Pitches and new business
• Managing the team’s financials
ABOUT YOU
Essential
• Strong Excel skills
• Strong presentation skills
• Excellent written and numerical skills
• Experience working within a media agency (preferred) or media owner
• Expert knowledge of Facebook and Twitter’s ad platforms
• GCSE maths B+
Desirable
• Passionate about digital and can demonstrate an interest in it outside the workplace
• Experienced in working with Direct Response clients
• Experience of managing media buys through Snapchat, Pinterest, LinkedIn
• Confident in leading conversations around attribution and tracking
• Strong knowledge of other digital channels and disciplines, such as affiliates, SEO and display
