Job Introduction
We are seeking a bright and smart thinker to lead this fast growing team. The role will involve managing attribution projects through collaborating and connecting teams across the Dentsu Aegis Network and our Cross-Channel Attribution Providers. You will advise on the end to end process, from appropriate methodology, to the best setup for attribution measurement through to budget optimisation for media campaigns. Effectve attribution can fundamentally change how brands approach marketing and understand what works; this role is at the forefront of this.
Role Responsibility
New business (30%)
• Ongoing development of sales and marketing materials to help the Business Development team to sell Attribution.
• Lead UK and global client pitches
• Responsible for building attribution commercials and proposals.
Client Delivery & team development (60%)
• Lead the attribution team on the delivery of end to end project cycle, identifying client’s business & tech challenges, gaps in their ad tech architecture, key requirements needed of attribution technologies (and deliver RFI where required) and create and deliver measurement and attribution strategy.
• Oversee all deliverables and be the escalation contact point for the attribution team and clients. Deliverables include auditing, data collection / integration / QA / troubleshooting, customers’ journey insights, digital media spend optimisation.
• Manage attribution team members by proving them with training and support to develop their technical and analytical skills.
• Demonstrate strong knowledge of external tools (activation channel) to help during the planning process, giving more customer insight to each client campaign brief.
• Providing subject matter expertise to internal activation teams on Attribution activation strategies and tools.
• Build and oversee relationship with Dentsu Aegis Network team, third-party attribution providers, UK and Global clients across the DAN network.
• Develop processes to maintain efficiency and communication between all stakeholders involved in the project (internal and external).
• Demonstrate a strong product knowledge about attribution, bid management and Ad Serving technology.
The Ideal Candidate
• Strong knowledge of current attribution and data analytics landscape, including Digital Attribution, Marketing Mix Modeling and Machine Learning.
• Strong understanding of advanced/data-led Attribution providers such as Abakus, Adometry, Visual IQ, DC Storm/Rakuten, Google DD model.
• Hands on experience in Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, DoubleClick Campaign Manager, DoubleClick Search, DoubleClick Bid Manager, Data visualisation tools (such as Datorama or Tableau).
• In depth understanding of Digital media such as PPC, SEO, Display, Affiliates, Email, Paid Social and good understanding of offline media.
• Ideally, programming skills to build API connectors with media buying platforms (e.g. Double Click Search)
• Ideally, experience using Big Query, Google Cloud Platform and/or Amazon Web Services
• Manipulation of large data-sets and basic understanding/exposure to SQL or non-relational databases
