OUR TEAM
Director, Digital Data Innovation, will support the product development team in the design, development and commercialization of cutting edge, data-driven ad-tech products for Catalina’s CPG and agency clients. He/she will define the processes to extract, integrate, and analyze digital media data, shopper data, and 3rd party data in a scalable way, focusing on opportunities to efficiently deliver insights, targeting, measurement and KPIs via dashboards and automated analytics/reporting. Another key component of this role will be to provide analytical consulting to internal and external clients, leveraging Catalina’s in-store purchase behavior database, to create customer insights, guide efficient & effective campaign design, and measure performance of digital advertising and omni-channel campaigns run by Catalina’s CPG and agency clients.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
• Analyze and interpret data in efficient manner
• Interact with various cross-functional teams, including Sales, Product, Technology, and 3rd Party vendors, to understand processes and technologies and implement analytical solutions
• Support sales engagements, including results delivery and capabilities discussions with clients, providing analytical tools and training, and providing content for sales collateral material.
• Maintain and leverage database of campaign performance results to provide guidance on analytics best practices for campaign design, execution, and measurement
• Evaluate Catalina campaigns, as needed, using appropriate analytical methods. Provide actionable recommendations for future programs.
• Perform simple to complex data analysis as required to meet the client’s analytical needs.
• Develop & deliver simple, impactful presentations which demonstrate the value of Catalina to the client.
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TEAM
EDUCATION:
Master’s degree in Statistics, Economics, Market Research or other Decision Science related field or equivalent experience required
EXPERIENCE:
• 5+ years business related experience
• Minimum of 1-2 years experience in a client-facing role
• Experience in the digital ad tech space preferred
• Consumer Packaged Goods experience preferred
TECHNICAL SKILLS:
• Ability to demonstrate a command of quantitative methods and statistical applications
• Recent depth and breadth in the professional use of at least one statistical software package (SAS, SPSS, R, and STATA). Experience using SAS preferred.
• Working knowledge of SQL
• Experience querying, extracting and analyzing large data sets
• Knowledge of UNIX, Neteeza (or similar) and relational databases
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
