Position Summary
Plans, organizes and directs staff responsible for the development and implementation of pricing strategies, tactics and standards for effectively maximizing corporate margins and achieving financial objectives.
Provide management with insights and recommendations related to price performance across all company products and services. Prepare business cases to support major business initiatives, and interact with other areas of organization for pricing proposals and analysis overview. Coordinate implementation of new pricing products and services and work with leadership for approvals. Analyze and track market performance and profitability of existing services.
Responsibilities
Work is typically performed under minimal daily supervision, must be able to exercise high level of discretion and latitude in completing tasks.
• Evaluate and assist in the enhancement of pricing strategies for Print Logistics, including the Expedited business.
• Evaluate and assist in the enhancement of pricing strategies for postage optimization services, including list processing, freight, CoPal Tray and commingle services.
• Develop and implement strategic pricing models and tools to support the business and ensure the pricing team is cross-trained to implement.
• Work with senior logistics management team to identify and evaluate strategic opportunities, including operational enhancements, the assessment of longer-term strategic alternatives, and assist with the development of the annual master plan.
• Work closely with Sales and Sales Support to determine the appropriate selling strategy and price for the platforms mentioned above
• Advises management of all major opportunities and related business issues
• Conduct in person and web-enabled presentations to senior leaders as required
• Work closely with other RRD Pricing Leaders to ensure consistent policies and standards are being followed
• Ensure all employees are cross trained in various areas of responsibility extending beyond the position’s direct responsibilities
• Perform other related duties as inherent to the position or as needed.

Required Skills:
Job Knowledge, Education & Skills
Bachelor degree with a minimum of 10 years of relevant work experience with demonstrated ability to meet the job requirements. MBA, consulting or Data Science background strongly preferred.
• Direct, intimate knowledge of Logistics service offerings, pricing strategies, and systems.
• Demonstrated ability to provide detail oriented, logical and methodical approach to business development and problem solving.
• Innovative mindset
• Effective communication skills
• Very strong computer and MS application skills
