As a company with cutting-edge solution empowered by technology, we are searching for someone who has a strong desire to learn and build on their knowledge about RTB (real time bidding). This person should have a general knowledge of the online media space through their past experience, and bring to the table keen interest in working within this new and extremely high growth space.
We are currently recruiting for an Account Director (Client Services/ Agency Communications Lead) for our downtown Toronto office.
Key Job responsibilities would include, but are not limited to:
General Responsibilities (90%)
• Operate as key point of contact for agency planning teams
• Work with agency teams and clients directly to ensure their needs are being met
• Work internally to develop best in class deliverables to clients, from available technology platforms and services
• Become an expert in programmatic capabilities, in order to talk to clients about what is possible, what is upcoming, and what would work for their overall media strategy
• Develop in-depth knowledge of the digital advertising industry and real-time media market dynamics
• Serve as subject matter expert and assist in developing junior managers in client management skills.
Campaign Management (10%)
• Monitor the goals and KPI’s for a portfolio of clients to ensure on-time and complete delivery of campaigns. Ensure all tactical media plan requirements are correctly implemented in DSP consoles based on client needs.
Requirements:
• 4 to 8 years of experience in digital media with a leading online advertising agency
• Excellent client services & communication skills
• Excellent quantitative and analytical skills with the ability to draw conclusions based on data
• Fundamental knowledge of ad targeting methodologies
• Expertise in working with RTB (DSPs, SSPs, ad exchanges, ad networks & aggregators, ad servers, and/or other optimization platforms)
• Ability to investigate, analyze & solve problems, and clearly communicate results
• Desire to work in an entrepreneurial atmosphere. Must be self-motivated and able to take the initiative to get the job done
• Eagerness to get hands-on to figure out how things work
• Excellent listening, presentation, verbal and written communication skills, ideally comfortable in a consultative, client-facing environment
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a cross-functional team
