Responsibilities
• Reports to the SVP, Account Services and Management and may have global accountability with revenue targets above 20MM
• Provide innovative thinking, working with an entrepreneurial spirit, not only in the visual aspects of our work, but in all areas of our business
• Proactively initiate discussion and thought-leadership outside of client scope.
• Identify specific opportunities for growth (both revenue and new avenues through existing scope) within existing client organizations
• Develop and employ selling skills to explore growth opportunities
• Build and develop client relationships and confidence as a trusted advisor and confidant offering an open ear, sound judgment, proven business acumen and a range of relevant approaches to various issues and opportunities
• Ensure deliverables are mapped back to revenue and client expectations
• Plan and track revenue goals for each client, reporting progress on a monthly basis
• Help identify new areas of opportunity around technologies, vendor/partners to enable growth
• Lead development, and oversee implementation of an annual Client Development Plan, updated at mid-year, for each client
Qualifications
• 10-12 years of solid client engagement experience.
• Experience in an Advertising Agency a must
• Thorough knowledge of the market and trends and how this relates to our clients.
• Extensive experience leading RFIs/RFPs
• Outstanding and persuasive client-facing and relationship management skills
• Superior verbal and written communication skills; Superior presentation skills
• Extensive partnering skills with demonstrated legacy of building and growing accounts
• Demonstrated understanding of Client’s goals and the subsequent development plans
• Proven track record of Business Development.
