Who we are looking for:
POSSIBLE is seeking an Associate Director, Marketing Sciences who is a thought leader with digital marketing strategy experience. In this role, you will encounter a dynamic environment with opportunities to influence the evolution of digital marketing analytics and personalization for our global client base. POSSIBLE is a pioneer in the use of analytics to develop strategic performance-based marketing plans that become an integral part of our clients’ overall business model. Our data team work closely with our creative, development and client relationship teams to deliver exceptional, results-driven work. Our proprietary advanced modeling techniques provide marketers the ability to prioritize and optimize investments.
What you’ll do:
• Deliver and grow our digital marketing analytics and optimization book of work with key clients.
• Provide strategic direction that demonstrates a measurable impact on business.
• Provide innovative thought leadership that enhances group capabilities.
• Participate in new business pitches and project scoping across the entire spectrum of group services.
• Foster mutually beneficial internal team and cross-functional relationships.
• Help clients define channel goals, key drivers and performance metrics.
• Analyze data to evaluate marketing performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Define A/B/MVT test scenarios and success metrics.
• Develop financial models for various online and offline visitor behavior.
• Conduct customer segmentation modeling and analysis to drive content decisions.
• Lead analytics/optimization instrumentation and configuration projects.
• Grow, manage, and mentor a team of Sr. Analysts.
What you’ll need:
• MBA or equivalent business experience.
• 5+ years of experience with a Digital Marketing Analytics Background.
• Strong, working familiarity with statistics and statistical concepts.
• Excellent communication & presentation skills.
• Experience working with senior managers and executives.
• Data manipulation skills and experience are a must.
• Strong familiarity with behavioral and attitudinal data sets.
• Web optimization experience is highly recommended.
Expert or strong familiarity with the following tools:
• Direct response marketing.
• CRM.
• Team management.
• Web Analytics: Omniture, HBX, WebTrends, Google Analytics and/or other web analytics tools.
• Ad serving tools: DoubleClick, Atlas.
• Social monitoring tools: Visible Technologies, Nielsen BuzzMetrics, Radian6, TNS Cymphony and other tools.
• A/B/n or multivariate Testing tools.
• SPSS or other data mining/statistical analysis software.
• Agency background.
• Statistics and statistical concepts.
• Benchmarking - industry, competitive and/or vertical views.
• A/B/MVT Testing.
