Summary:
A minimum of 8 years’ experience preferred; the Director, Digital Investment & Strategy will help drive thought leadership, strategic development, and marketplace & investment expertise. Key responsibilities will be to guide teams in trading strategy; support/drive key negotiations; provide and solicit market input; build/maintain productive relationships with key partners; work collaboratively with strategic planning team on developing & driving holistic brand strategy; provide thought leadership to clients on digital topics and marketplace trends.
Responsibilities:
• Working within integrated team means ensuring the right connections with Planning/Strategy, specialist areas such as National Broadcast and Print, as well as specialist digital practices (Mobile, Social, Search).
• Lead development of brand & campaign strategy, in collaboration with Planning/Strategy teams
• Provide digital thought leadership to clients on an ongoing basis
• Continue to drive consistent process and approach to marketplace dealings and cascade to teams
• Help drive Mindshare and GroupM level discussions to create benefit for the broader client base at Mindshare as well as support individual client level deals as needed
• Work with IT/GroupM/MS Business Planning to significantly increase access to accurate, timely trading data (rates, spend trends, inflation projections, etc.)
• Participating in regular Mindshare and GroupM trading meetings.
• Helping DTL to communicate market intel to teams via wider GroupM channels
Qualifications:
• Must have big brand experience, managed big and highly integrated teams
• Strong client skills and superior communication skills both verbal and in writing with internal and external teams.
• Comfortable working with big budgets and numbers
• Strong analytical skills and comfortable working with data
• Exceptional organizational skills, multi-tasking capabilities and detail oriented
• Bachelor’s degree, preferably with a concentration in marketing, business administration
