Who we are looking for:
POSSIBLE Shanghai is looking for an Account Director who will be responsible for identifying and qualifying new revenue opportunities with existing clients; creating client interest in new POSSIBLE deliverables; referring leads when appropriate to POSSIBLE business development personnel or Directors; and producing proposals and presentations which win business.
The Account Director combines high expertise on digital trends and technologies with an intimate understanding of clients' goals and needs.Internally, the Account Director oversees the translation of our client’s vision into business requirements participates on project teams working for his or her clients by reviewing team deliverables and providing strategic oversight. As a leader in the company, he/she should regularly mentor, lead and participate in company vision & strategy sessions.
What you’ll do:
• Develop overall account strategy and translate the client’s vision and needs into business requirements through proper coordination with project teams on required deliverables, and client expectations.
• Identify opportunities and new interests that the client may not recognize to help drive revenue and benefit business needs as their digital adviser.
• Produce proposals and presentations that win business. This includes developing and negotiating statements of work, ensure work is delivered on budget, and manage invoicing according to the contract terms.
• Be a role model for stewardship between the client and the agency by balancing the account’s needs with avoiding unnecessary expenditures and negotiation required costs
• Manages team members to help them develop their skills and drive their performance as well as optimizing the company’s capabilities to enhance strategic value.
• Work closely with project teams to ensure effective scoping of work and support them in delivering the highest quality work. Anticipate, proactively address and advise management on potential client or revenue issues.
What you’ll need:
• Outstanding ability to lead, convince, and inspire in a client-service environment; superior listening, interviewing, meeting facilitation, presentation, and writing skills.
• 5+ plus years of client contact experience in a creative agency, communications, or customer service environment; demonstrated impact on the communication and online strategy for major clients.
• High knowledge and expertise in digital – and personal perspective on Internet trends and technologies, business and site performance analysis, user centered design process.
• Proven ability to lead, mentor, and collaborate in a team-oriented workplace.
• Prior leadership role at growth-oriented creative or interactive firm.
