Postion: Associate Director of Client Engagement
Position Summary:
The Associate Director of Client Engagement is accountable for every aspect of client programs through their life-cycle.
The ADCE is primarily responsible for managing the client relationship, internal program teams, and program execution, with a focus on growing the client relationship and expanding services/business. The ADCE will have a focus on excellence in program execution with detailed knowledge of the promotional approval process within pharma. The ADCE is responsible for briefing internal multi-disciplinary teams, project planning and building client relationships through effective communication and delivering quality results. In addition, the ADCE should demonstrate thought leadership on program development and deployment design, providing trusted insight to clients.
As member of the Operational Leadership team, the ADCE is also responsible for identifying and leading company-wide initiatives.
Implementation Leadership
• Maintains primary responsibility for the quality and integrity of all agency products delivered to assigned clients; resulting in the cultivation of client loyalty and retention.
• Serve as the client’s day-to-day liaison, working closely with the client and the client’s internal teams to launch programs into market
• Engages clients on a regular basis to manage expectations regarding timing and deployment, and communicate the success measurements
• Cultivate the importance of non-personal promotion in the overall marketing mix
• Provide on-going support to client’s and their initiatives including:
• Representing the agency on copy-review meetings
• Provide program overview information as needed; slide presentations, briefing documents, deployment reports, metrics, etc.
• Understand the agency dynamics and mobilizing resources to most effectively meet all account requirements
• Resource planning across accounts and the agency resources
• Effectively driving project timelines and deliverables across a multidisciplinary team
• Ensuring program managers are communicating all project plans, project plans are up-to-date, and teammates are aware of next steps (daily/weekly planning across projects)
Account/Client Leadership
• Will own the client relationships at the mid-to-senior level within the agency’s organizational structure
• Understand clients' business needs and effectively manage programs to ensure business objectives are being met (timing, targeting, etc.)
• With EVP and Business Development, responsible for managing the client relationship
• Build trust, credibility, drive client referrals, and retention
• Manage client programs through the project lifecycle (from sale to deployment)
• Ensure clients fully understand the BioPharm value proposition
• Ensures clear, ongoing communication regarding the client, strategic insights pertaining to the client's business, initiatives, and issues, or similar to multidisciplinary team me
• Develop and execute effective and efficient multi-channel programs
Account Development
• Identifies opportunities for growth within existing client accounts/brands managed, and presents/positions new ideas to clients on an ongoing basis
• Seek opportunities to up sell and cross-sell within the account to generate additional revenue where appropriate
• Supports the Business Development team with account identification and development, including participation on sales calls and program recommendations during the sales process
Employee Management & Development
• Inspires the team to deliver superior client programs that consistently that meet or exceed client's goals/expectations
• Recruiting and hiring top talent at the open position
• Foster teamwork and a constructive work environment
• Develop and implement training/learning modules
• Oversee training and development of program team members
• Continually seek development opportunities for team members
• Provide team leadership that rewards excellence in execution
