Formed in 2012 to service Battle Creek, Michigan-based Kellogg Company, Krispr Communications is a division of Edelman Chicago’s Brand practice. With a team of more than 30 account leads, digital experts, creatives, planners, producers, project managers and more, Krispr represents some of Kellogg’s most iconic brands, including Frosted Flakes, Special K, Pop-Tarts, Rice Krispies, Pringles and Raisin Bran.

Role Overview
We seek a dynamic Vice President (VP) to help manage and grow a portfolio of exciting brands.
You are: A superior communicator with executive presence and entrepreneurial spirit. Digitally savvy. Hungry to learn and evolve, and undaunted by change or complexity. Comfortable leading cross-discipline teams.
Responsibilities
• Serve as trusted business advisor for your clients – provide thoughtful counsel based on broad communications landscape and business goals; take immediate action on client feedback
• Set and lead both traditional and social strategic media relations course and leads flawless team execution
• Lead an integrated team by establishing common ground and aligning on shared vision to do inspiring work. Mentor, motivate, coach, provide feedback and accountability
• Represent Edelman in an inter-agency environment, partnering with client’s advertising, media, and other agencies to develop 360-degree programming
• Seek insights before recommending solutions—partner with Edelman research and analytics teams to gather data to inform communications strategies
• Work with project managers and finance team to ensure financial health of the account – supervising budgets, timelines, billing, profitability and team utilization
• Capitalize on, and contribute to, the Edelman network – across the Brand practice, the Chicago office, and the globe—serving as an officer of the firm and growing business
Qualifications
• At least eight years of relevant experience in public relations and/or related fields including research, digital, advertising, management consulting, media and publishing
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field and a strong understanding of how to communicate with teams and work from both clients and agency teams
• Familiar with core marketing fundamentals
• Demonstrate behaviors consistent with Edelman’s values and Code of Ethics and Business Conduct
