Who we're looking for:
POSSIBLE is seeking a Regional PR Director who is responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of all communications and PR supporting POSSIBLE’s priorities and strategies in the America’s region. The PR Director works very closely with the America’s leadership team and the Global Marketing Team, creating and leading POSSIBLE’s America communications activity across all channels including trade, social and internal. You are also responsible for developing strategy and managing our presence at major industry events and award shows in the region and for supporting internal communications as necessary. To be successful in this role, you must have strong existing relationships with PR and agency publications.
What you'll do:
• Develop and lead regional PR strategy, track and measure regional PR
• Responsible for regional goal setting and budget management
• Develop a speakers’ bureau and speaker placement strategy for regional events to increase POSSIBLE’s industry presence and thought leadership
• Manage and track regional award strategy, including agency, campaign and people submissions as well as jury/judge nominations. Development of agency and people submissions as necessary, in partnership with POSSIBLE’S Director of Campaigns
• Oversee regional external communications, messaging and outwardly facing content including some of POSSIBLE’s regional social channels
• Partner and sustain strong collaboration with regional leadership and global marketing team on brand awareness and strategic Agency communication
• Support internal communication needs including promotion of all agency learning and culture activities, employee news and corporate messaging
• Work closely with the global marketing team to deploy messages and communications strategies across regional POSSIBLE markets
What you'll need:
• Minimum of 5-7 years of experience as a PR lead inside a large agency, interactive business or within applicable industry
• Proven results with PR initiatives, events, influencer and story management, including existing relationships with industry publications and editors
• Manage relationships with key, senior level media/influencers
• Solicit & share feedback/perception from media & influencers regarding the agency’s competition & position in the industry in order to counsel & inform actions
• Ability to work on cross agency activity
• Ability to detect & mitigate possible issues, conflicts & disruptions in the business
• Demonstrate initiative, solid judgment and creativity
• Strong presentation skills
• Experience with executive communications
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills
