The successful candidate for the Associate Media Director role should have extensive Paid Search experience and at minimum a base understanding of all media channels. This person should also have a demonstrated ability to lead and develop their team by being a strong mentor and should empower their team to think creatively and strategically across all lines of business.
The candidate must be able to develop a trusted partnership with internal and client teams by balancing both client and agency business needs. Additionally, they will also be responsible for guiding the implementation of integrated media strategies designed to drive success.
A person with detail, an eye for conceptualization and desire to grow will thrive in this environment and in this role. Direct reports will likely be in the range of five, scaling from Media Supervisors to Associate Media Managers.
Qualifications:
• BA/BS in marketing or related field with 8+ years of paid search/programmatic campaign management and experience
• Proven ability to synthesize data/results, identify trends/key findings and present innovative, integrated media recommendations that go beyond existing scope of work to achieve clients' marketing and communications objectives
• Provides holistic media solutions that demonstrate marketing leadership and ignite innovation on the business
• Demonstrates passion and curiosity for digital media and actively seeks opportunities to expand understanding and use of paid search, mobile and display media
• Owns media strategy and relationship(s) for account and relationships with agency partners; Works directly with Account Director on strategic client initiatives
• Able to manage client requests and push back with sound rationale when necessary
• Manages media team of 3+ including Supervisor, Manager and Associates
• Coaches team members to continually raise the bar, execute flawlessly, deliver more holistic solutions and provide overall client excellence
• Productive relationships with media reps and internal teams that lead to successful campaign deliverables and high client satisfaction
• History of success executing complex, large-scale campaigns flawlessly
• Excellent communications (written/verbal), presentation and analytical skills
• Strong analytic skills and problem-solving skills
• Detail-oriented with strong attention to follow-through
