Position Summary: Connect- Vice President
Location- New York, NY
A ‘master’ understanding brand strategy, brand tracking and B2B research, the Vice President role will combine superior client relationship skills, an ability to see the bigger picture and operational excellence. In this role, you will present a consultative point of view on quantitative insights, approaches and methodologies for one of the largest technology, media, and advertising companies on the planet. This position will develop, grow, and lead our B2B portfolio with particular focus on our global B2B tracking program. Our aim is to help our client address fundamental business issues with particular emphasis on market assessment, innovation and new product development, marketing, advertising and brand management. In applying for this role, you are an industry leader able to provide brand consultancy and deliver high quality, high impact research insights.
What does the job look like?
• Builds business with key target clients by growing current programs & developing new client relationships. This would include:
◦ Proactive strategic planning regarding current and key target opportunities
◦ Developing and growing existing as well as new relationships, exhibiting interpersonal relationship strength across all interactions
◦ Proposing, pitching, and winning projects, using existing Ipsos products/methods to deploy innovative programs on our clients’ behalf
• Displays mastery of methods and methodologies deployed by Ipsos Connect in delivering strong research programs, serving as a trusted advisor to clients on brand, advertising and communications-related issues. Provide methodological advice and strategic insight to clients as a key business partner.
• Leads the existing team to success through deployment of strong functional and inspirational means; Day 1 of this role will leverage existing resources, but the new program lead will work to optimize our client servicing structure.
• Provides day-to-day oversight of this team, including:
◦ Senior leadership on program execution
◦ Proposal/pitch process
◦ Research method leadership
◦ Supervising report generation, and owning insights delivery
• Consistently looks for ways to add value to client interactions
• Manages the business to achieve financial success on all parameters (topline growth as well as target profitability). This role is responsible for management of a P&L.

You are innovative and creative in your thinking in responding to complex client briefs, and you develop inspiring proposals. You are skilled at building and sustaining client relationships based on mutual respect and trust.
• You have a proven ability to support and lead strategic account planning, including presentation of those plans to the management team (generating their buy-in.)

• You own an established, highly regarded and recognized reputation in the industry for addressing research challenges, & providing solutions that deliver substance/clarity/insight. You show strong aptitude for media research consulting with highly developed analytic skills, and have the ability to think strategically and to provide innovative and creative solutions.
• You possess superior organizational skills, including ability to manage and delegate work effectively, and an unflagging attention to detail & demonstrated commitment to quality/accuracy.
• You are a supreme multi-tasker, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, working collaboratively with both internal and external clients, while maintaining a strong team and client service orientation.
• You are a leader, able to coach and develop to more junior Ipsos Connect people, with past experience in mentoring and/or managing others. You demonstrate clear & distinct leadership behavior.
